5 Email Marketing Tips to Help You Grow Your Business as a Med Spa Owner

Are you a med spa owner who is struggling with marketing customers to your med spa? Are you unsure of which marketing avenue to use to promote your products and services? Email marketing is the most effective way to grow your business and your audience, and so many med spas have hundreds of client emails that never get utilized.  In this post, I’m sharing five email marketing tips you can start using today to help you grow your business as a med spa owner.

Collect Emails from your Customers. You are probably already collecting emails.  Maybe you collect them after your customers complete a service or make a purchase. But what do you do with them after you have them? Once you have the emails, make sure that you market to that audience. It’s so important to follow up with your clients using email. Make sure that your front desk knows to ask customers for their emails. Have a system in place to have those emails entered into your email service provider in a timely manner, and have a place in your marketing strategy for utilizing the emails.

 

Email Marketing on your Website. Do you have a place on your website to collect emails? If not, you are missing an opportunity to gain more customers. You can collect emails with a simple invitation at the top of the page to join your email community. Another option is to have an irresistible offer on your home page. For example, you could offer a free consultation, or a free guide to using retinol. If you look at the home page of my website, you’ll find my offer of a free guide on “5 ways to boost sales in your medical spa over the next 30 days”. Customers give you their email in exchange for the offer. What is something you believe is extremely valuable that you could offer your customers in exchange for their email?

Nurture your Email List . It’s not enough to get emails from your customers. Once you have them you need to create an “email community”. Think of your email list as a special, exclusive community where you share unique tips and tricks. They are the “VIPs” of your offers…the first to hear about them. Treat them like gold. Create a “series” where you send out a series of emails that teaches them about different products or services. Make sure that the email gives value on its own and then at the end offer a P.S with an offer of a related product or service. 

Promote to your email list. Did you know that 49 percent of consumers would like to receive promotional emails from their favorite brands? Did you also know that an average of 2% of your list will convert to sales when you promote a launch or sale? Don’t miss out on the opportunity to promote to your “VIP” audience. If you have been nurturing your email community with a steady flow of valuable information about your med spas products or services, they will be ready to hear about your offers and be more likely to buy than if you just start reaching out to them when you want to sell them something. 

Repurpose your content. One of the reasons that marketing can feel overwhelming is because you feel that you always have to create something new. That’s not the case. You can repurpose the valuable content from your emails and use it to market to your other marketing outlets, like social media. No need to reinvent the wheel! 

Keep your front desk in the know. Make sure your front desk knows about your marketing campaigns. Creating a new campaign for each month or quarter will be the best way to stay organized with this. With your front desk prepared with the knowledge of what’s coming next, they won’t be like a deer in headlights when clients start calling or rolling in.They will also be better equipped to promote your offers and encourage your customers to join your email list to stay in the know about all your latest promotions.
